PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device configured to reduce sensors dedicated for detecting a reference position of a rotating body.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: a drive motor 40 for driving a rotating body, having a hall element 41 that outputs a hall signal HS according to a change in magnetic field; a pulse generating part 48 that generates predetermined pulses on the basis of one turn of the drive motor 40, according to an input of the hall signal HS; a count part 55 that counts the number of pulses generated by the pulse generating part 48; an image forming part that forms an image on a recording medium; an acquiring part 51 that acquires correction information for correcting misregistration of a plurality of color images on the basis of information on a test pattern formed on the recording medium; and a phase management part 51 that manages a phase of the rotating body, on the basis of a count value obtained by the count part from the start of forming the test pattern, by using a reference phase of the rotating body which is obtained at the start of forming the test pattern. |
