PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a resumption of changeover control (motor control) of a shift range without giving discomfort to a driver when a microcomputer of a range changeover control device is reset and restarts during the changeover of the shift range.SOLUTION: When a microcomputer 41 of a range changeover control device 42 is reset and restarts during the changeover of a shift range, even if a target range before the reset is not a P range, P range wall abutment control (abutment control in which a motor 12 is made to rotate until it abuts on a P range wall which is a limit position on the P range side in a movable range of a range changeover mechanism 11) is executed to learn a reference position. Also, when the microcomputer 41 is reset and restarts during the changeover of the shift range, if the target range before the reset is not the P range, a notification lamp 43 is made to operate for notification (for example, turning on or blinking) and it is notified that the shift range is the P range. |
