PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a handrail stanchion, which simplifies and facilitates field work and which can shorten work time on a job site.SOLUTION: A reinforcing core material 5 is erected inside a cylindrical stanchion body 3 having a lower end opening closed with a closing member 4, and mortar 7 or concrete is infilled into the stanchion body 3 and solidified to form a handrail stanchion 2. A lower end of the handrail stanchion 2 is inserted into a stanchion mounting recess 8 recessed in a stanchion mounting position on a top surface of a weir wall 1, and fixed to the weir wall 1 by a grout material 9 flowing into the recess 8. |
