PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-headlight unit capable of decreasing the reduction of an illumination range toward the inner side of a curve and illuminating a light properly to the position which a driver desires to observe.SOLUTION: Sub-headlight units 13L and 13R for a vehicle to turn in lean positions comprise sub-headlight light sources 13La-13Lc and 13Ra-13Rc for illuminating a widthwise outer side and the front of the vehicle. The brightness of the sub-headlight light sources changes according to the lean angle of the vehicle. When the lean angle of the vehicle reaches a reference value, the sub-headlight source is turned on in a predetermined brightness, and the reference value changes with the pitch angle of the vehicle. |
