Embodiments of the present application provide a method for transmitting information in a wireless local area network, a terminal, and an access device. In the embodiments of the present application, a terminal wakes up according to wakeup time information (that is, enters an active state from a sleep/doze state), and the time to wake up is no longer determined by the terminal itself. Therefore, the problem in the prior art that the probability of uplink information collision is increased as a large number of terminals need to send uplink information to an access device at the same time, thereby reducing power consumption of the terminals.
