A method for transmitting and receiving a multiband radio frequency based signal is provided to improve management efficiency of a multiband radio frequency in a communication system supporting the multiband radio frequency by defining and signaling a multiband identifier and receiving and transmitting the signal. The unit information of a specific layer corresponding to a higher layer than a physical layer is transmitted through a plurality of frequency allocating bands managed by one specific layer. The control information for dividing a plurality of frequency allocating band is transmitted. The plurality of frequency allocating bands managed by one entity has the frequency allocating band size allocated for a specific service. The control information includes information for converting a first identifier for classifying the plurality of frequency allocating bands in the physical layer to a second identifier for mutual classification in the plurality of frequency allocating bands managed by one specific layer in the specific layer. |
