摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable light quantity measurement in a light source device singly while preventing increase in manufacturing costs and a part-disposition space and vignetting.SOLUTION: This light source device for an endoscope is provided with a plurality of light source modules 31-33. Light emitted by the respective modules 31-33 is guided through a divergence type light guide 41 to a homogenizer 50. The homogenizer 50 is a light guide rod for guiding the incident light in the axial direction by the total reflection on the internal side, that makes the quantity of light in the radial direction of the incident light. A light quantity sensor S1 is fitted to the side part 50b of the homogenizer 50 with an adhesive having a high refraction index. Since the light ray entering the homogenizer 50 is transmitted through the internal side at the position of the light quantity sensor S1, the light quantity of each light source module 31-33 can be measured by the light quantity sensor S1.
