PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which realizes both of interlocked startup and individual startup of an outer-equipped image processing controller and an image forming device, which constitute an image processing system and can perform image processing in coordination with each other.SOLUTION: When a LAN I/F1(212) receives an activation instruction from a PC client 103 in a first power state in which a main power supply line 223 is shut down, an outer-equipped image processing controller 101 being in coordination with an image forming device 102 causes an outer-equipped image processing controller 101 to be in the first power state to a second power state in which power is supplied from the main power supply line 223, and gives activation instruction to the image forming device 102 in coordination; and when in the first power state, a switchover instruction to a start state is given by means of a main power switch 208, it causes the outer-equipped image processing controller 101 to be shifted from the first power state to the second power state, and does not give a start instruction to the image forming device 102 in coordination. |
