PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize the end of an acceleration period of a striker.SOLUTION: A machine tool includes a tool holder 6 which loads a chisel tool 7 movably along an axis 3 of operation. A striking mechanism 2 includes a primary drive 22 which is arranged around the axis 3 of operation, and has at least one magnetic coil 47. The striking mechanism 2 has a striker 4 and an anvil 13 in order on the axis 3 of operation in magnetic coils 46, 47 along a striking direction 5. The anvil 13 protrudes at least partially in the magnetic coil 47. Further, the striking mechanism 2 may include an air spring 23 which acts on the striker 4 along the striking direction 5. A power supply which is controlled forms an electric circuit connected to at least the second magnetic coil 47, and a current controlled to a target value flows there from the power supply. A control part ends an acceleration period when detecting change characteristic of striking in currents flowing through the magnetic coils 46, 47. |
