PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output device which can inhibit transmission of output-prohibited data when the device externally outputs data that is reproduced in the device according to execution of an application by using a wireless LAN such as Wi-Fi (R).SOLUTION: A data output device determines whether an executed application inhibits transmission of reproduced data or application screen data in the data output device according to execution of the application (S103), and if the application inhibits the transmission, substitutes pre-stored substitute data for the reproduced data or the application screen data to output the substitute data (S105 to S115). |
