The present invention relates to a method and a device for evaluating production qualities of stereoscopic images based on images of both eyes. The method for evaluating the production qualities of the stereoscopic images includes an image signal analyzing unit analyzing the production qualities of each image on both sides and three-dimensional effects before or after being damaged by receiving an image signal; a depth signal analyzing unit analyzing the production qualities and a damaged rate of a depth signal by receiving the depth signal; and a final quality analyzing unit analyzing the final production qualities of the stereoscopic images by using an analysis result of the image signal analyzing unit and the depth signal analyzing unit.
