PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a large number of series of biological images, especially biological images acquired from a patient affected with ischemic stroke.SOLUTION: The invention includes a step to acquire a plurality of series of biological images in which a certain image in any series corresponds to a certain image in another series; a step to create respective segmentation masks for selected images in the series; and a step to apply the segmentation mask to a corresponding image in another series different from the series in which the segmentation mask has been created, and especially includes a positioning step 202, an image associating step 204, a display step 206, a filtering step 208, and a volume calculation step 210. |
