PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which can be easily assembled without reducing rigidity of a rolling bearing device and to which a proper preload is applied stably for a long time, and the rolling bearing device.SOLUTION: A predetermined constant-pressure preload is applied to a conical roller bearing 13 by an elastic force of a disc spring 20 accommodated in an annular step part 21 which is formed at an outer diameter side of a side surface of an outer ring 15. When an impact load or such a big load as exceeding a design value acts, the disc spring 20 is considerably elastically deformed and crushed in an axial direction but since an annular protruding part 22 provided at an inner diameter side of the side surface of the outer ring 15 is abutted to a shoulder surface 19, the disc spring 20 is prevented from being plastically deformed or broken. |
