PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of an electric melting furnace in which wear of an electrode can be determined accurately, and inspection work, and the like, of the electric melting furnace can be carried out quickly by reducing the work load of a worker, and to provide a production method of glass using the control system of an electric melting furnace.SOLUTION: The control system of an electric melting furnace includes a controller 30 for controlling an electric melting furnace, detection means 17, 18 for branch circuit that detect the power information of branch circuits, and detection means 13, 14 for main circuit that detect the power information of main circuits. The controller 30 includes a determination unit 40 for determining wear of the electrode based on the power information of branch circuits and main circuits. |
