PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement chain unit in which a buckling strength is improved by ensuring rigidity of a pair of engagement chains in engaging portions which are engaged and integrated, and the amount of chains to be accommodated is secured sufficiently by freely providing a chain accommodation groove.SOLUTION: In an engagement chain unit 110, each of a pair of engagement chains 110A, 110B comprises an independent reinforcing plate 115 connected with a meshing plate (111). The independent reinforcing plate includes an independent reinforcing plate base part 115a including a fitting hole 115aa of a connecting pin 113, an extending part 115 extending from the independent reinforcing plate base part in a confronting direction of the pair of engagement chains, and independent reinforcing surfaces 115ba disposed at an interval of one chain pitch at both sides in a forward/backward moving direction in the extending part. The extending parts of the independent reinforcing plates of the pair of engagement chains are provided while being displaced from each other in a chain length direction just by one chain pitch. |
