PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an entirely smooth surface while performing trim boundary connection.SOLUTION: A design data generation apparatus partially corrects prescribed surface data to generate corrected surface data. The design data generation apparatus comprises: lattice setting means for setting a plurality of lattice points on and around the corrected surface data; curve approximation means applying curve approximation to a line of respective lattice points in a predetermined direction set by the lattice setting means; curve surface generation means generating a curve surface on the basis of a curve approximated by the curve approximation means; and trim means trimming the curve surface by a trim boundary on which the curve surface generated by the curve surface generation means and the prescribed surface data intersect with each other to generate corrected surface data.
