An image display device comprises: a display unit; an image display unit which displays in the display unit an image including a ruled line; an acquisition unit which senses in a display screen of the display unit a coordinate which a user has input directed, and which acquires a trajectory of the sensed coordinate; and an enlargement unit which enlarges and displays in the display unit a portion of the image including the ruled line with an enlargement rule, which is selected on the basis of position of an intersection of the trajectory of the acquired coordinate and the ruled line.
