PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method inside a teletext page, usable for an electronic program guide with a small capacity memory by constituting data inside a data block, successively storing the page in two or more different buffers and processing the data of a first page stored in a first buffer, while the data of a second page are obtained in a second buffer. SOLUTION: Data pages transmitted typically as 1DF××××are obtained by an obtaining unit HW and successively stored in two different page buffers PA and PB. Both pages are generated from a stream 1 or the stream 2. When a gage A has been completely obtained, the data inside the buffer PA are completely processed, and a page B is obtained in the buffer PB during the time. The processing of the page A is ended, before restart of fetching the page A in the buffer PA. Then, each of block buffers BB1 and BB2 is used for each stream.
