The method comprises: receiving activate GPS information; and, acquiring signals of satellites corresponding to the current sky on the basis of prestored ephemeris data to implement positioning. Embodiments of the present invention store the ephemeris data before the terminal device activates GPS positioning, thus, when the terminal device activates the GPS positioning, allow for rapid positioning by means of rapid locking of the corresponding satellites on the basis of the stored ephemeris data, and effectively increase the positioning efficiency.
