PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed suppression mortar spraying method which imparts excellent weed suppression function to a place which has needed the work for weed suppression, especially a ground surface of a broad area and can apply mortar resistant to crack formation and good in strength. SOLUTION: The weed suppression mortar spraying method comprises spraying onto an object to be sprayed mortar prepared by adding a material comprising cement, a reinforcing fiber, and a fine aggregate to a solution (A) based on a lignin composition and calcium chloride, kneading the mixture, subsequently adding a solution (B) prepared by using a lignin composition and sodium silicate as principal components to the kneaded mixture, and kneading the resulting kneaded mixture.
