<p>The present invention relates to an electronic signature system using a mobile terminal. The electronic signature system comprises: a subscriber client which consists of a mobile subscriber terminal (30) for generating an electronic signature using a pre-stored certificate and an electronic signature key and a subscriber terminal (10) for receiving the electronic signature from the mobile subscriber terminal (30) and presenting the electronic signature to an external agency; and a relay server (20) which connects the mobile subscriber terminal (30) and the subscriber terminal (10) to relay a request for generating an electronic signature and the result thereof, wherein the subscriber terminal (10) includes a public authentication module (12) and a remote security token module (14), wherein the relay server (20) has a session storage unit (24) for receiving and temporarily storing session information including thread ID for sensing the start and end of the public authentication module (12), transmitted from the remote security token module (14), and authentication object data, transmitted from the mobile subscriber terminal (30), and the relay server (20) also maintains a session, in which the subscriber terminal (10) and the mobile subscriber terminal (30) are connected to each other, using the session information, and operates such that the session information and the authentication object data temporarily stored in the session storage unit (24) is maintained only while the session is maintained. Thus, the electronic signature system can be configured without changes in existing public authentication modules which conform to PKSC#11 interface specifications, can minimize communication data exchanged at the same time, can improve communication speed, and can enable a safe electronic signature.
