The surfaces of rollers without interposition of straps are contact with each other to feed filaments (27) at different peripheral speeds for forming staple fibers. The burden force of output upper rollers is set to specific range. A compaction device (28) is installed behind the pair of delivery rollers along the conveyance direction of filaments. |
