The cage (2-5) has a peripherally distributed window (3-5) for accommodating torque transmitting balls. The window defines a window middle plane. An outer spherical control surface (9-5) is provided around a middle point (M1) and a conical outer free surface (10-5). An inner spherical control surface (16-5) is arranged around another middle point (M2), where the middle points lie with axial distance to the middle plane. The outer free surface is mechanically unmachined based on a precast raw part. The free surface lies in a region of an annular bar (13-5). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a ball bearing cage for a synchronized swivel joint (2) a synchronized swivel joint comprising a joint inner part, a joint outer part and a ball bearing cage. |
