METHOD OF WOOD SAWING BY RING CIRCULAR SAW

FIELD: wood-sawing and wood-working industry, applicable in wood sawing along fibres by ring sawing machines with power feed. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in cutting motion and feed motion; the axis of shaft rotation and the geometric center of circumference passing through tooth points are shifted relative to each other at least by 3 mm. The feed rate is set depending on the value of shift and shaft rpm so that at least a quarter of teeth would participate in sawing. EFFECT: enhanced quality of sawn surface and reduced power intensity of cutting process.
