摘要 The present invention provides a method to synthesize nanocomposites containing intercalated FeF 2 - or Fe 2 O 3 - nanoparticles in a graphitic carbon matrix by reaction of a volatile iron compound with a graphite fluoride (CF x ) or a graphite oxide (CO x ). The invention further provides a nanocomposite material containing intercalated FeF 2 - or Fe 2 O 3 - nanoparticles in a graphitic carbon matrix and its use as electrochemically active material in particular for use in electrochemical storage cells.
