Disclosed is a soot-sensing system of a diesel vehicle including a combustion element having a catalyst, affixed to a ceramic structure having a porous structure, burning with soot among exhaust gas from a diesel engine; a comparing element having a stable material affixed to the ceramic structure, that does not burn with the soot; and a detector detecting the temperature of the combustion element and the comparing element and calculating the generated amount of soot among the exhaust gas by using temperature differences between the elements.
