PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image carrier cartridge which is constituted so that a certain and stable contact state with an abutting member can be obtained, which is excellent in durability and handleability, and which can be surely driven. SOLUTION: An image carrier unit 101 is constituted so that a thin cylindrical image carrier 140 having flexibility is supported by a pair of disk-like members 130 rotatably fitted to a shaft 110 which does not rotate by itself and the shaft 110 is rotatably provided with a backup drum which is fitted to the shaft 110 on the inside of the carrier 140 and which supports the carrier 140 from the inside at an abutting position where a cleaning member 171 and an electrifying roller 160 abut on the carrier 140 from the outside by a decentering bearing. Then, a pin 113 and pin receiving parts 213 and 223 for deciding the shaft turning position of the shaft are formed between the projection part 112 of the shaft of the unit 101 and a cartridge case 200. |
