PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure and to provide an inexpensive fan motor. SOLUTION: This motor is provided with a fixed frame part 1, a fan 2 fitted so that it can freely rotate on the inner side of the fixed frame part 1, a plurality of magnetic bodies 4 provided for the fan 2, electromagnets 5 provided in prescribed positions of the fixed frame part 1, a permanent magnet 6 provided in a position detached from the electromagnets 5 by a prescribed distance, a detection means 7 for detecting that the magnetic bodies 4 provided for the fan 2 come close to the electromagnets 5 and a control circuit 8 for controlling the conduction of the electromagnets 5 corresponding to the output of the detection means 7. At stand still, the magnetic bodies 4 in the fan 2 are sucked to the positions of the permanent magnet 6 and are stopped/positioned. The arrangement of the magnetic bodies 4 with respect to the electromagnets 5 is slightly dislocated and the magnetic bodies 4 are sucked by the electromagnets 5 by conduction against the electromagnets 5 and the fan 2 starts rotating. When the magnetic bodies 4 come close to the electromagnets 5, conduction is released and the fan 2 is moved inertially. Then, the electromagnets 5 are conducted and conduction release, and conduction are repeated. Consequently, the rotation of the fan in one direction is continued. |
