PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a temperature detection circuit capable of reliably preventing superheated breakdown without increasing costs within a driver IC chip. SOLUTION: A driver IC chip comprises a shift resistor circuit 21, a latch circuit 22, a gate circuit 23 and a high pressure-resistant drive circuit 24. Further, a temperature detection circuit 25 is additionally integrated therein and an output terminal TO of this temperature detection circuit 25 is connected to the gate circuit 23, and when a set temperature is set, this high pressure- resistant drive circuit 24 is compulsorily set to a Z mode to prevent superheated breakdown of a driver IC. |
