PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact switching apparatus such as switch in which, an occurrence of a heat loss failure is avoided by positively making it impossible to be conductive by the designer intended durable frequency, and moreover, guaranteed durable count due to Weibull curve can be increased, thus making it possible to manufacture the apparatus at low price. SOLUTION: An arc is generated at a contact with or release from a movable contact 16 and a NO contact 15a, if a contact material 31 of the NO contact 15a is consumed by specified quantity, even if a movable contact 16 is made movable in its closed direction, a stopper 35 interferes with the movable contact 16, and the contact is regulated so as not to be closed. Thereby, when there is a margin up to a service life of a switch in which a contact switching mechanism 30 is mounted, it can reach the service life of the switch positively with the designer intended durable frequency. |
