ELECTROLYTE FOR ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which is superior in high temperature life time and low temperature characteristics. SOLUTION: An electrolyte, comprising a mixed solvent of two out of three type of solvents, sulfolane, 3-methylsulfolane, 2-4-dimethylsulfolane, andγ- butyrolactone, and a solute of the fourth imidazolinium or the fourth pyrimidinium, provides a superior high temperature lifetime and low temperature characteristic to an electrolytic capacitor without leakages.
