PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment with which a call originating telephone number display service can be effectively utilized while reducing the burden on a user to use the call originating telephone number display service. SOLUTION: A display part 4 is provided with a LED 4a especially for displaying whether it is in the state of performing a self telephone number display due to the call originating telephone number display service or not. Besides, an operation part 5 is provided with a display/non-display key 5a for setting whether or not its own telephone number is to be displayed. When the LED 4a is turned on, facsimile equipment automatically executes number adding processing for performing the self telephone number notice. When the LED 4a is turned off, the facsimile equipment automatically executes number adding processing for inhibiting its own telephone number notice.
