PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce risk of a communication apparatus even upon occurrence of earthquake by providing two struts comprising a plurality of vertical members for securing a base and the top part, and a beam member for securing two vertical members. SOLUTION: Two end parts 52, 54 facing each other on the top part 50 are secured, respectively, to vertical struts 20, 30 by means of welding or bolts. The vertical strut 20, 30 comprises two shaped steel plate members 60, 70 at the front and rear, and an intersection member (beam) 80 for coupling them. The rear member 60 comprises two members each having C-shaped cross-section. Since the rear member 60 is harder than the front member 70, it can withstand against substantially any dynamic load even in case of earthquake. Since the rear member 60 is wider than the interval of the front member 70 located before a rack, it can be accessed easily from the front side of the rack.
