<p>There is disclosed a method and a device for preparing a dry ice/water ice mixture, wherein the dry ice is introduced into a mixing area via a feed, water or water ice also being introduced into said mixing area by means of a separate feed. The feed of dry ice and water ice is configured such that the water, when it is in the liquid state, does not come into contact with the dry ice. Mixing does not occur until the water is in the form of ice. Further cooling of the ice mixture, in particular of the water ice in order to increase the hardness thereof, can be achieved via contact surfaces, by means of which the water ice is cooled further.</p> |
