<p>Compositions for control of obesity and hypertension are disclosed. The active ingredient is a bacteriocin, such as nisin, which has been found to reduce body weight by a mechanism of action also expected to be hypotensive. Methods for reducing body weight and hypertension by ingesting the compositions of the invention are also disclosed.</p> |
