Chipboard stacking unit has two linked rail-mounted jacking-benches

The stacking assembly receives a quasi-continuous supply of chipboards (7) which are cut to two different formats, and forms stable stacks. The sized chipboards (7) are received on a roller conveyer (6) and are fed through a guide (5) towards a shield plate (4) which positions the board accurately at the top of a stack (20). The stack is formed on a rail-mounted (12) jack-bench (9). The set of rails has two linked benches (9,10) which are moved to place a chosen bench in the stacking location.
