What are described and claimed are a process and a device for producing bags (2, 2'), the walls of which contain stretched polyolefin material, - in which at least one thermally induced joining process is effected by heating at least some of the material (2, 2', 3, 3') to be joined with a stream of hot air (18), - which (18) is produced by firstly guiding air past one or more heating devices (16, 21) and then conducting it onto the material (2, 2', 3, 3') to be joined. It is considered novel and inventive that the stream of air (18) is guided past at least one heating device (16, 21) in pulsating fashion. |
