METHOD OF PRODUCING AMINO DIALKOXY ALDEHYDES VIA HYDROFORMYLATION
摘要

The present invention is a method comprising: (a) providing an N-alkenylphthalimide; (b) converting the alkenyl group to an aldehyde by hydroformylation; (c) reacting the aldehyde with an alcohol or alkyl diol to form two alkoxy groups on or a cyclic diether with the carbon that was part of the aldehyde group - i.e. forming an acetal or cyclic acetal moiety; and (d) then forming a primary amine by deprotection of the amine (i.e. removal of the phthalimide functionality).
