The task of the present invention is to provide a tip holder storage body provided with a function appropriate for the automatic exchange of tips by using a robot. The tip holder storage body (15) comprises: a moving body (12a); a pair of flat surfaces (12b, 12b) formed in parallel with the shaft core of the moving body (12a); a cutout groove (12c) formed in parallel with the flat surfaces (12b); a wheel tip (12e) attached to the cutout groove (12c); a code (12i) disposed on one among the pair of the flat surfaces (12b); and a slide groove (12k) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the moving body (12a). The tip holder storage body (15) is provided with a receiving hole (15a) storing a tip holder (12) and with a flat bottom side (15y), wherein the receiving hole (15a) has a long projection (15s), which is fitted into the slide groove (12k) of the tip holder (12) to be slid and moved, disposed on the inner surface thereof, and the flat side (12b), which has the code (12i) of the tip holder (12) disposed thereon, is retained and maintained upwardly from and in parallel with the bottom side (12y). |
