The invention relates to a new use for Neuritin (CPG15) protein as a target for anti-stress and antidepressant treatment which increases a function of synapses and nerve cells so that the invention improves a function of emotion because overexpression of Neuritin (CPG15) protein significantly increases spine density of nerve cells.
