PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away end mill having a small diameter, capable of machining of both a side linear part and a corner radius part simultaneously, and capable of effective sinking machining, in shoulder machining or groove machining. SOLUTION: A tip 1, where at least one end part in the longitudinal axial direction is formed in such a nose-shape that a curved minor cutting edge 6 and a linear minor cutting edge 7 are arranged on right and left ridge lines respectively, as a projection end part 8 projecting from the bottom face of a tool body 21, is used. At the time of mounting the tip 1 on the tool body 21, the curved minor cutting blade 6 and the linear minor cutting edge 7 composing the projection end part 8 are arranged on an outer diameter position and an inner diameter position on the bottom face side of the tool body 21 respectively.
