PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular paper tube which is free from torsion and of an extremely high quality and has opposite two faces, out of four faces, the thickness of which can be freely set according to a required strength. SOLUTION: Strip paper 1-4 supplied sequentially in the axial direction of an angular shaft 10 are folded in the width direction so that three faces of an almost U-section shape consisting of a center part and an end part positioned on both sides of the center parts, are formed, and the paired strip papers thus formed are superposed on the end parts with each of the opening parts set inside. Further the paired strip papers 1-4 are made to pass through molding parts 11-13 provided encircling the angular shaft 10 so as to form a specified interval and consequently a molded body with a square section is formed. Next the strip papers 1-4 are fed into the axial direction while being clamped and pressed between contact-bonding rollers 57, 58 installed opposite to each other on the surface of the angular shaft 10 and the angular shaft 10. Finally the molded bodies formed as described are laminated to obtain the angular paper tube.
