<p>The present invention relates to a method for generating a menu button and converting the size thereof in real time on a writing program for an electronic blackboard, which is capable of converting the size of a menu button in real time according to the need of a user without changing the dots per inch (DPI) setting of the display device. The method comprises the steps of: generating a menu bar (22) and necessary buttons (23, 24, 25) while starting and initializing a writing program (S410); loading necessary icon vector data (26), the default size value (9) of buttons, the minimum size value of the buttons, and the maximum size value of the buttons while loading a setting file to prepare for rendering icons (S420); after the setting files are all loaded, executing icon rendering for converting the icon vector data (26) into bitmap images (S430); after the icon bitmap images necessary for the buttons are all generated, inserting generated icons to each of the buttons (S440); aligning the buttons, into which the icons are inserted, on the menu bar (22) (S450); and generating the icons with a button size value (34) set by the setting file and arranging the buttons (S460).
