PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability in attaching/detaching a work by arranging a pressing mechanism to effect the friction pressure welding of the work in a longitudinal condition. SOLUTION: A first spindle box 15a is movably installed on a first linear guide rail 12 provided on a forward side surface 11r of a base part 11b of an installation base 11, and a second spindle box 16a and a movable clamp 17 are movably installed on a second linear guide rail 13 provided on the forward side surface 11r. A fixing clamp 14 is fixed to the forward side surface 11r. Work holding arm parts of both clamps 14, 17 are arranged in a vertical direction. That is, the fixing clamp 14 and the movable clamp 17 are arranged in a longitudinal condition. The distance L from the center line L0 between spindle units 15, 16, which is the distance from works W1-W3 to a worker, and both clamps 14, 17 to an end face of a device on the worker side can be reduced to achieve the purpose.
