PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankshaft for converting reciprocative motions of a cylinder into rotational motions, in which deposit of solid impurities such as particulates contained in a lubricant oil is precluded and wear of bearing metal is lessened. SOLUTION: A crankshaft is equipped with a journal 25, crankpin 27, and a crank arm 29 to connect the journal 25 and pin 27 with each other, and is further furnished with a first oil hole 39 formed in the journal 25 and penetrating in the radial direction, a second oil hole 45 formed in the pin 27 and penetrating in the radial direction, a third oil hole 47 formed from the crank arm 29 to the journal 25 through the pin 27 and putting the first 39 and second oil holes 45 in mutual communication, and a blocking plug 49 fixed to the opening 47d of the third oil hole 47, wherein an under-the-neck part 49b extending to the second oil hole 45 is provided at the forefront of the blocking plug 49.
