PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine announcing the exact timing of paying attention when the game machine executes an announcement performance with two or more display patterns. SOLUTION: The game machine is so structured to sequentiall stop and display the variable display of symbols in three symbol arrays 50L, 50C, 50R when announcing the winning or the losing of the lottery with the combination of symbols displayed on an liquid crystal display 106. Under the condition that the probability of achieving the winning combination of symbols remains there with the stop-displayed combination of symbols stopped at the preset stop line L in the two symbol trains, and by using the patterns that can materialize "standard ready-for-win" or "ready-for-win anyway" as the display pattern to end the variable display of the symbol train 50 being variably displayed and to execute the stop display of ready-for-win direction, and in accordance with the kind of patterns to be executed, the kind of stop sound to be reproduced when the variable display of the symbol train 50 is made to stop one by one is selected.
