摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and safety of a bipolar battery when temperature of the bipolar battery is increased. SOLUTION: The bipolar battery 10 includes a power generation element 20, a resistance value reduction member 30, and a conductive wire 51. The power generation element 20 is formed by alternately laminating a plurality of bipolar electrodes forming positive electrode active material layers 13 on one surface of a collector 12 and forming negative electrode active material layers 14 on the other surface of the collector 12 and a plurality of electrolyte layers 15. A resistance value reduction member 30 is formed on at least one collector among the collectors forming the power generation element 20. The resistance value reduction member has characteristics wherein resistance values are reduced from a resistance value showing insulation caused by temperature rise of the collector to a resistance value showing conductivity.
