The present invention relates to an apparatus for opening and closing a battery mounting part of a top replacement type battery for a vehicle according to new type in order to shorten working time to replace the battery at maximum by performing opening and closing operation easily by installing a cover for opening and closing a part comprising the battery mounting part to be able to slide. In order to achieve the above objective, in a structure for enabling a user to replace a battery by comprising a battery mounting part on the upper part of a vehicle, the present invention provides an apparatus for opening and closing a battery mounting part of a top replacement type battery for a vehicle which includes: a pair of guide rails which are comprised along the length direction of the vehicle at both sides around the part, where the battery mounting part is located, of the upper plane of an out roof panel forming a ceiling of the vehicle; a box body shape cover case which forms an outer surface and has an open bottom to cover the part where the battery mounting part protrudes; and a battery cover which is installed to be able to move along the length direction of a corresponding vehicle by being supported by the pair of guide rails, and is installed to support each wall and edge in the cover case, and comprises a profile part forming a frame to prevent deformation or sagging of the cover case.
