PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-providing apparatus which eliminates the need for a taxi user to fully inform a driver of a route to a destination and with which a required time to the destination and a use fare can be grasped. SOLUTION: At least one route to a destination is searched for, and a required time to the destination is calculated from the searched route and traffic information such as VICS information or the like. Moreover, a use fare is calculated from the calculated required time and a distance to the destination. These are displayed with the route to display devices 3 and 4. When a plurality of routes are present, the required time and use fare are displayed for each route. When a taxi user selects an optimum one from the plurality of routes, a guide to the destination along the selected route is displayed to the display devices 3 and 4. |
