PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe member for connection of piping members capable of connecting them without bringing about any drainage trouble at all even if their material and/or substantial inside diameter differ as long as their nominal diameters are the same. SOLUTION: The pipe member 5 has such a structured that the inside diameter D at its top 14 is greater than the inside diameter (d) of the bottom 15. In whichever combination an upper situated piping member 10 and a lower situated piping member 11 are arranged, no up-facing step will be generated on the inside surface in any connection part between the piping members 10 and 11 and the pipe member 5 as long as their nominal diameters are the same. Accordingly, no drainage trouble will arise, otherwise resulting from collision of the flow-down draining water with an up-facing step.
